About

Sarah Walker

Sarah has worked in Social Housing for over 25 years and has held many roles including senior Housing Management positions.

She is particularly skilled at New Build Housing and has worked in this area as a Senior Project Manager for Bromford - a large midlands registered provider.

With Sarah’s expertise in Section 106 Planning Gain she secured many units working with companies like Berkeley Homes, Taylor Wimpy and Bovis.
Sarah has also been involved in community build projects on Rural Exception sites most notably developing 9 homes in a small hamlet in the Cotswolds.

Sarah has also completed “Option Appraisals” on housing stock that were considered obsolete and difficult to let, this resulted in several projects involving decant, demolition and new build being delivered on the sites with Sarah taking full responsibility of the project from inception to end of defects.

As the lead Project Manager Sarah took full responsibility for all her projects and delivered full financial management within company KPI guidelines - including all cashflow management, yield, payback, return on investment and internal rate of return.

More recently Sarah has set up and runs her own none profit supported housing business. Helping young adults that are leaving the social care system into settled permanent accommodation by working with both the Local Authority and other service providers to obtain independence.
